| The mission of the Rockland Conservatory of Music is to provide quality professional music instruction at reasonable rates to students of all ages and levels, regardless of ethnic, religious or financial background. Founders Edward and Janet Simons felt that anyone who wished to make music part of their life's journey should be given the opportunity to do so. The Conservatory Scholarship Program for students in financial need, has remained at the center of their vision since the school's inception 52 years ago.

The group Music therapy program is funded by Orange & Rockland Utilities, Inc. Funds for scholarships and special programs are gratefully received from the County of Rockland, The Ronald McDonald House Charities Tri-State Area, Ronald McDonald House Charities Global, The Leonard Tingle Foundation, Target Stores, The Welles Remy Crowther Charitable Trust, The String Ensemble of Rockland, Wal*Mart and through individual donations. SOUNDZ faculty concert series is generously underwritten by Coltsfoot Fund of Pomona, NY. Yamaha pianos (4) for studio and performance at RCM's campus are provided for use by Frank & Camille's Keyboard Centers.
